Its been a rough week. Or two. Or three. I’ve lost count.
Hello friendos. It’s the beginning of June, which means my last round of bi-monthly goals has come to an end. Let’s see how we did! Make sure you check out my original post for more details on this round of goals.
A note before I start: I know this is the first time I’ve posted in a week. I want to thank all of you for being here, and for allowing me to take a few days off for the holiday and to celebrate some special anniversaries. We’re back to our regular schedule!
Earlier this year, I was reading an interesting article about how sales of the book 1984 had skyrocketed since the Trump election. While the article didn’t say why this was the case, I had some ideas, so I decided to read it again myself.
Whoopdie doo time for another book review. That wasn’t as sarcastic as it sounded, I just thought I would be whimsical and start with a rhyme. You know what, let’s just forget that first sentence even happened.
For the past month, I’ve been furiously writing. I’ve developed characters, moved plots, decided on a name for my book, and watched my word count crawl closer and closer to my 50,000 goal. I updated you all every week, bringing you along with me during my triumphs and my failures. But I know what you’re thinking. Dude, it’s May 1st, did you win or not?
